Crescentia Farms
Our story
Our farming business is located on a 10 acre parcel in Story county. We planted our first crop of pumpkins and squash in 2005, followed by our first grape plants in 2006. Our desire to share some of our love of agriculture with our four children led us down the path to Crescentia Farms. This year we have a variety of vegetables that we will market from May into fall. In September and October we'll also feature grapes, pumpkins, and squash.
Our practices and ingredients
We have a large garden of vegetables and fruits where we are using conventional techniques with Integrated Pest Management as our spray guide to treat only as needed. We have a small vineyard in conventional production utilizing a spray program to prevent disease and insect infestation.
Our products
Our produce includes asparagus, beans, beets, carrots, cucumbers, grapes, kohlrabi, onions, potatoes, radish, rhubarb, squash, tomatoes, zucchini & more!
